The Barton Greenway will provide safer and better route for people walking, cycling and, where appropriate, horse-riding, between Barton and Cambridge with a spur to Grantchester.
The Barton Greenway proposals include upgrades to shared-use paths on the northern side of Barton Road, enhancements to two roundabouts to provide safer routes as well as widening a shared-use path over the M11 bridge. We’re also proposing traffic calming measures including raised tables and 20mph speed limits.
